Sponsor Spotlight with Lisa Norton of VitaFerm

Lisa_nortonWhy Does VitaFerm & SureChamp continue to support junior nationals across the country?
Part of our company culture is to support livestock youth because we believe that young people are the future of this industry and the entire country. By supporting livestock youth we hope to promote a positive work ethic that is involved with showing livestock.
What do you enjoy about Jr. Nationals?
The kids. I like listening to them at the wheel as well as watching them grow into the nice young people that represent the show industry. Getting to know them as part of the cattle business and watching them grow and learn is my favorite aspect of Junior Nationals.
What is your newest product?
We have two new products VitaFerm Heat, is a mineral that helps with heat stress and promotes water and feed consumption during hot temperatures. Liquid Boost is a water-soluble additive that helps livestock handle stress while encouraging proper eating and drinking. It can be administered through water, on top of feed or via drench.
What would you like the livestock industry to know about your company?
Our goal is to support the livestock industry, and we believe that it is our job to provide assistance whether it is through our products or in other aspects. Our job is not to sell people but to help people.
The livestock industry will need to work together to ensure that the regulations and criticism directed towards us lately does not get the best of us. We need to work as a team to offset to potential negatives.
