Who are your greatest mentors? My parents, they always tell me to do my best and try my hardest. I would be lost without them.
What do you love about your breed? Whats not to love!?!
What is your favorite junior national memory? My first year at junior nationals I had reserve grand champion heifer and it was one of the first shows my heifer had been to.
What do you want people to be excited about with Junior Nationals? We added new things this year including a state pride booth. I’m very interested to see what states bring!
What is the board most excited about? We are excited for everything. We are going out of the normal this year. For one, we are showing a marketing video and everyone has to market and sale the same heifer instead of their own.
What is the biggest life lesson you can take away from showing livestock? You are not always going to win but put your best foot forward and never give up.
What is the most rewarding experience while on the Jr. Board? Ive got to meet so many people. It has taught me not to be afraid because someone is looking up to you.
