Award Presentation

Sullivan Supply South recently presented Jacob Hudson of Hillsboro High School FFA with an award for Outstanding Livestock Production.
Jacob raised the Grand champion Broilers at the Hill County Fair. His pen of birds scored a 29/30 which is extremely rare to get that high of a score.  In addition to Broilers Jake also showed a steer and placed 2^nd in his class and Reserve Champion Hill County Born and Bred.  He took the same steer on to Houston where he placed 5^th in his Chianina class.  Jake also raised 2 Hereford heifers this year which he showed at the State fair of Texas, Heart of Texas Fair, Fort Worth Stock Show and San Antonio Stock Show.  Jacob has shown improvement in his showmanship skills and has put in many hours working with and showing his livestock this year. It was an honor to present Jacob with the Outstanding Livestock Production Award.
