Pit Stop

As we end the 4th of July this evening we are sitting by a fire pit enjoying the friendships made over the years at the JNHE’s and letting the cattle rest before the long week in the barns. Enjoying a meal of fresh corn on the cob and s’mores we plan the next 600 miles of our trip to Harrisburg. 5 trailers will head east tomorrow in hopes of memorable week. Saturday hundreds of Hereford cattle and families will prepare the stalls and finish the drive through mountains. Tonight we had the pleasure of Heidi and Charles Anderson drop by as they prepare for a week at the angus jr nationals and of corse Heidi had to take one of her famous photos which I will use today in the blog.
